Redneck Panko Chicken

Two things make this a redneck recipe.
1. Ranch dressing
2. I reside in Shannon Village

Panko is just a type of bread crumbs. Japanese breadcrumbs that deliver more crunch.

Chicken is just a staple around this house. Somebody seems to eat chicken at least once a day around here.

Now do you want to see the easiest recipe ever. In fact I am not sure it qualifies to use the word recipe!

1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs (I used regular the first time I made this and it is good too)

Mix a package of ranch dressing mix

Coat chicken on both sides

Place into an ungreased pan and bake approx 30 min at 350 degrees

So golden and yummy ...it's a keeper recipe for me!

Dinner is served!

Pot lid organizer repurposed

Can you ever really be organized enough?  My answer is no. I try to think of things to clear the clutter around here all the time. I am still trying to get more stuff out of the house, but the things we know are going to be around for a while need an organized spot. The kids rooms are in dire need of more organization. Too many toys not enough room. Will this ever change?  Probably not.

I had this pot lid organizer hanging above the stove in the kitchen that I grew tired of.  Most things I cook don't need a lid on the pot, so I had transferred all the lids back into the cabinet. I got really excited when I realized I could use this! Re purpose and Reuse!!

A puzzle board organizer! Sha~zam!!  I really love organization!

Beans, clothes, & pom poms

Little Man has graduated to whole milk & table food. He really loves food especially beans. Baked beans, green beans, black beans - he "tears it up" when they hit the tray. (Gotta love Daddy quotes!) Here is our bean boy.
His next stop was the bathtub.

Clothes are always a problem around our house. They are everywhere. It's embarrasing how many clothes we have.  I truly love going to the children's consignment sales for the kids. It is so fun to buy their wardrobe at a great price.  This year my goal has been to buy less. Just gotta control myself tomorrow when everything is half-off tomorrow at Another Child's Treasure. Been working on changing out all our clothes for the season.

It really helps to have cheerleaders to keep me on track!

Happy Birthday Shepherd!

Ella, Mommy, and Daddy all turned toward Shepherd's playpen (I call penitentiary) singing "Happy Birthday" to our 1 year old. This moment doesn't seem like it should be possible yet. A year old? He is beaming at us on his knees jumping up and down in excitement. Laughs combine with giggles from our precious birthday boy. This is one of those moments you wish you could stop time and savor a little longer.

I love you Shepherd more than you could possibly know! Happy First Birthday "bubby"!

Overboard

I know I go overboard about my kiddos, but I can't help it I love them so! . I plan on this being my spot just for them and the other fun things going on in the House of Q!
