Memorial Day

We spent this Memorial Day with Mimi Kim and Paw Paw George

We all had a wonderful time.

all in a days cleaning

It usually starts with these

and I fill the cute character cups

before long I have this

Sometimes they are on their own playing for a little to long and I find this

Or the "potato path" (my personal favorite)

They are so proud of themselves, but I must explain this is our food and not the best toy

All the cleaning is completely worth it and I love these girls!

clear the decks

Does anyone else have this problem? Junk and mail taking over your countertops.

I have decided it is time to clear the decks

and actually be able to see the counter.

A little serendipitious creation of my very own - a drink station.

I don't think Kitty was very impressed.

This is the House of Q blog 2.0!  Sometimes starting over is not such a bad thing. I could not figure out how to access my other blog anymore, so this is what I came up with to replace it. I kind of like this one better anyway.

At the end they got to see Sir Topham Hatt

and jump a little

go inside the petting zoo

and play a round of golf

We headed to the train station for our next ride

We got to go through a long tunnel

and watch them spin the engine on a train table

I think the girls had the most wonderful day learning the joy of riding a train

and we all did too!
